Quiet location in historic “grand” hotel surroundings. Rooms are modern and beds are firm! I would go back.

We loved this place. A real step back in time to a grand old hotel with lovely spacious rooms and a great menu. Staff were lovely and helpful. Our room was more than big enough for three people with a separate room for the third person so could easily have just gone for one room rather than two.

The rooms are really nice, smaller than pictures, but nice. View was ok, small porthole in a Concrete wall. Pool was great, breakfast was amazing. Staff are very friendly and attentive. We had a car so it was 7 minute drive to parking outside Ortigia every evening plus we did day trips to Noto, Catania, Marzemeni, Brucoli. Parking was easy and convenient. Great value for the price. I would stay again. We rented a self captained boat as well, coast is beautiful, and we ate every night in Ortigia. We split our time between Syracusa-Ortigia and Taormina.
