    Was charged over €100 more than quoted. Person on front desk blamed my bank and their 'exchange' rate.

    Location, rooms, breakfast, staff, hygiene everything was perfect. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Do not look for another place to stay in Prague.

    Overall, we had an OK stay at the hotel. Unfortunately, the air conditioning was not working well. Even though we set it at the lowest temperature, it was not cooling the room down. Another unfortunate thing is an unpleasant smell in the room, but unsure where it was coming from. It's like a smell coming from a sewer or dirty toilet. It is noticeable when you come back to the room at the end of the day, and with the air conditioning running. But when you stay in the room for a long time, you get used to the smell and don't notice it as much. Lastly, from time to time you can hear the sound of water running in the wall. This is probably when other rooms are using their bathrooms, and is just poor soundproofing.

    Stayed at Falkensteiner HOtel Prague from 2-5 Dec 2025. The hotel location is excellent. Most of the main tourist attractions are within walking distance (5-30mins). For the price we paid, I'm not sure the hotel is super worth it because the room was basic, the kettle and the coffee machine was dirty with stains, with no amenities like toothbrush etc. The staff however were polite and always helpful so they do have their plus points.
