We spent a little extra for the luxury king room and it was definitely worth it. The room was huge. Very clean and modern while still retaining the historic feel and nature of the place. They did a great job.

The Rigdon House is always clean, quiet and a pleasant stay. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The only reason I give it a 4-star rating is that the rooms are a bit dated and need an upgrade.

The bed was very uncomfortable; the carpets could have been cleaned. The furniture makes squeaking noises when you sit down; very hard and uncomfortable. Directions for heating the room and information about the area were not available. This is my second stay at this hotel; I'm not sure why I came back.

I can't say enough wonderful things about this place! If I could rate it at 10 stars, I would! We stayed there for two nights for our 15th wedding anniversary and had such an amazing time. I had told the manager that we were celebrating our anniversary and they offered us a complimentary bottle of wine upon arrival. They have a fantastic FREE happy hour in the evenings with some truly fantastic drinks (not watered down, pre mixed bottle kind, but the real deal with a different selection each night)! Our room was so spacious and lovely with a separate seating area. We also enjoyed the patio at night with the fire pit. The hotel was apparently built in the late 1800's, so it has this fantastic charm that you rarely see anymore. But it has be renovated and kept up, without losing that unique character. The location was also ideal as we could walk to everything. We will definitely be back! Already looking forward to our next stay! Highly recommend!

This is a boutique hotel with a lot of charm. Our family suite was spacious and lovely; although, the carpet was a bit run down and the vents could use a cleaning. We opted not to turn on the air conditioner for the sake of spreading dust. However, we truly did enjoy our stay at Rigdon. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. We would stay here again. Coffee area very hard to use, it needs an additional shelf to add sugar, cream,etc. We were given a birthday pie ( very nice) but no knife or plates. Since we had an outdoor entry with many stairs, it was a pain to go to the main floor.

This was one of the most charming places I've ever stayed. My family was doing a California roadtrip and stayed in the Rigdon House for one night, but everyone was wishing we could stick around for more. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The room was clean. The happy hour and firepit and breakfast just make this the perfect place for a few nights in central California.

it's a gem of cambria. Furniture is vintage and European style. There are beautiful teawares. Staff is friendly and welcome. They made the happy hour to welcome guests. My family booked a two bed rooms suite. The room is so clean and spscious. Everyone slept well and enjoyed the quiet room.
