The Rigdon House is always clean, quiet and a pleasant stay. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The only reason I give it a 4-star rating is that the rooms are a bit dated and need an upgrade.

Was fine, very nice folks. Spacious room and comfortable furnishings. Didn't spend much time there other than sleeping. Common areas were friendly and stocked with snacks and coffee/tea.

The staff is minimal and only on premises for a few hours of the day. You are given a key to the hostess room, where you can make your own coffee and select from a small variety of fruit and packaged snacks. The room was great. Two T.Vs.

it's a gem of cambria. Furniture is vintage and European style. There are beautiful teawares. Staff is friendly and welcome. They made the happy hour to welcome guests. My family booked a two bed rooms suite. The room is so clean and spscious. Everyone slept well and enjoyed the quiet room.

The staff is always helpful. The property has had a lot of nice renovations and upgrades. We’ve stayed about 5 times now. The only thing I wish they would consider is putting distance between bookings that have children and bookings that don’t.

The place itself was not bad, but after this stay, I will stay anywhere without a staff on property overnight anymore. Around 8pm, I used the toilet for the first time and realized the handle was not working. Of course staff was gone for the day already. My husband and I attempted to fix it but could not. We have to remove the toilet tank cover and pull it from the inside to flush each time. I tried to message them on their app system but no response. Even the next day when we checked out, no staff to be seen. I messaged them again after I left, still no response. Also, room that we got seems smaller than what I booked/not as described. So I sent them an email to ask. Not surprised, no response.

The Rigdon House is a quaint, older hotel located in the heart of downtown. My wife and I love staying due to its close proximity to all the shops and restaurants. The rooms are comfortable, clean and quiet. The maid service is excellent. We have stayed there 8 times in the past 5-years. Our only, and continued request, is they continue to update the rooms and provide better water pressure for the showers. I understand water conservation and the need to put restrictors on the heads but the amount of water that trickles out is ridiculous, requiring extended time to completely rinse. Still, The Rigdon House is a great value for the price, and I continue to recommend it to others

We loved the location, and the room was a good size for the 2 of us to spread out. There were ants in the little kitchen area and it could use a bit of a refresh with some paint inside and out but overall very charming. Loved the back patio and happy hour!

My friend and I visited Cambria to take in the sights at the Fiscalini Ranch and to tour the lighthouse. We stayed two nights. What we liked about our room, #16. Very spacious - comfortable beds - handy microwave, refrigerator/freezer, toaster, and a small drip coffee maker. The hotel is in a nice location and we enjoyed the courtyard that backs up to a serene green space. What we didn’t like - furniture in sitting room looked like thrift store finds and there were no chairs as were shown in the room photos. Room was very dark unlike the room photo. Being on the bottom floor we could hear the footsteps/noises from our upstairs neighbors. There was only one person in attendance the whole time we were there and he leaves the premises at nine p.m. so there’s no one on duty. Many times when we went to the lobby area there was no one present. Never stayed at a hotel where there was no one on night duty.

This is one of the nicest Inns we have ever stayed at. The rooms are HUGE and beautifully furnished. The location is perfect. Very quiet and private. Coffee available in your room and in the morning room. 2 hour happy hour each evening from 5-7 with a delicious fresh baked gourmet flatbread. An incredible value with their reasonable pricing. Can't recommend them highly enough!
