    I am writing to formally dispute an unexpected additional charge of $45.79 CAD that I was required to pay at checkout during my recent stay at Hyatt Regency Niagara Falls. Booking ID: 1045320050 Room Type: Junior Presidential Suite Additional Charge: $45.79 CAD (DMC – Daily Mandatory Charge) I booked the Junior Presidential Suite through Agoda and paid the full booking amount upfront, including taxes and all charges presented during the booking process. Therefore, I am extremely disappointed and confused as to why the hotel charged me an additional $45.79 at checkout under the name “DMC.” If this was a mandatory fee, why was it not clearly included in the total amount I paid through Agoda or transparently disclosed before I completed my booking? As a customer, I relied on Agoda to provide accurate and complete pricing information and expected the total amount presented during the booking process to reflect the actual cost of my stay. It is unacceptable to pay the full booking amount in advance, only to face an unexpected additional charge at checkout. Mandatory fees should be clearly communicated upfront so customers can make informed booking decisions without unpleasant surprises. I expect Agoda to investigate this matter directly with Hyatt Regency Niagara Falls and provide a clear explanation of why I was charged an additional $45.79 after paying my booking amount in full. Please review my reservation details and clarify whether this charge was properly disclosed in my booking terms. If this fee was not adequately disclosed before booking, I expect Agoda to take responsibility for resolving the issue and arranging a refund of the $45.79 I paid. Please do not simply redirect me to contact the hotel. I made my reservation and payment through Agoda, and I expect Agoda to work with its accommodation partner to investigate this issue and provide a satisfactory resolution. I look forward to your prompt response and a clear explanation of how you intend to resolve this matter. Thank you.
