    Most important thing when staying at a hotel is cleanliness. 2nd is how well its maintained. Blue Dolphin checked both. The staff were also great.

    Really comfortable inn just steps from the beach. We stayed for one on our road trip up the coast. Staff were welcoming, beds were comfortable. Bathrooms could do with an update but it wasn’t a problem. We slept well and appreciated the breakfast included. Could sit and watch the waves of the Pacific from our window.

    If you get the Oceanview I bet this would be an amazing place to stay. BUT the first floor partial Oceanview is not worth the money. Poor air flow, no AC and an average height person can't see the view while sitting in the chairs provided. Bkfst delivery is nice - but no pastry. If you like scrambled eggs it's good.

    Every thing was perfect. Breakfast was great. Really nice boardwalk and beach across the street. A couple of nice places out to sit and look at the ocean. Peekaboo views of the ocean from the standard rooms and excellent views from the rooms in the front. My son said he is looking forward to taking his wife there later this summer. Can’t go wrong with this one.
