    Very nice hotel located close to everything you need - many restaurants, bars, metro, tram,... The staff are also very helpful and friendly. Room was very cozy and nice.

    Hadn't been to Amsterdam before and this hotel was booked from the web. Really pleased with the hotel. Its in a superb location behind the Rembrandtplatz whch has loads of bars and restaurants (round a little square) and the hotel is a stones throw from the tram stop in the square. Hotel had everything we needed. Towels changed daily, coffee refreshed and bed made. Had luggage storage for our last day. Staff were super nice and friendly. Would defo go back as a great location for Musuem area/VondelPark and a 20 min walk (3 min tram) to the centraal station.

    The only good thing about the Albus Hotel is the staff and the locations. Rooms very small, small beds, basic amenities, paper cups. Breakfast too busy, no plates, empty containers, tasteless omelettes, burned croissants, 20 people trying to be served with everything running out, chef who has to cook and serve. Self check in for a hotel over 500 euros. Visitors tax of over 10%. All the staff were very nice. But this was our second time (first time in 2017) and things have not got better
