    I stay here during the PAX convention weekend. A short walk to southern cross station. Room is very spacious and clean. The Staff were very helpful and friendly. A pleasant stay.

    I had stayed in this hotel a few times before and was usually impressed and left an excellent review. However, it changed during my last stay and I will never step a foot there again. I was placed in a room that wasn't connected with the wifi. I politely reported the issue with a staff at the front desk and asked if I could move to a different room since I needed to connect to internet for work. The response from the staff was unbelievable and very unprofessional. Without even looking if there was other rooms available, he got defensive and told me that wifi in the hotel was not good everywhere. I told him that I'd stayed in the hotel a few times and never had issues with the wifi. I was even willing to pay to upgrade the room but the staff kept saying that the wifi wouldn't work anywhere in the hotel. Instead, he asked me to use my phone data to connect to the internet or go to the lobby to use the wifi. Very unprofessional. Guests staying in the hotel may need to get connected to internet to work or contact family. If the staff himself tells the guests that the wifi is bad everywhere in the hotel, then stop advertising that the hotel provides wifi service. I also don't understand why the staff got very defensive when a guest politely reported an issue. It sounded like he didn't want to deal with issues in the hotel at all. From the way he responded, it sounded like he shouldn't work in hospitality. The room also smelled damped and musty. I decided to leave after only one night even though I paid for two nights. I will never come back to this hotel again after seeing how bad and unprofessional the staff was when handling an issue.
