We were very pleasantly surprised by the lovely quality of this B&B. Our room was very spacious, clean with modern facilities. The owner was friendly and helpful with prompt communication. There was plenty of free street parking very near the property. The breakfast was excellent with a variety of healthy options.
We walked to the beach and took a lovely swim in the sea at the end of October. It was a lovely beach.
There was a fantastic pizzeria in an easy walk away, and very inexpensive.
The only criticism of the area, (not the B&B), was the litter wherever there was an empty plot, and dog poo on the pavements. What a shame the locals let this happen, as it really lets down a lovely part of Italy.
Otherwise, we would highly recommend staying here a few nights to enjoy the beach and Matera is a 45 minute drive away.
