I was very impressed with this hotel. There is a free shuttle to broadway and 7th that I used often. There was also free breakfast, snacks and two evening drinks daily. The staff were very kind and generous. I very much enjoyed my stay and would stay again in a heartbeat.

Good location a stone's throw from university. As mom traveling with my teen daughter, I felt safe in this location. I decided to pay $10 for street parking rather than $40 for the hotel's deck; there were a few bums in area at night, but the neighborhood seem to mostly be college students walking around for nightlife. The atrium of the hotel was a bit more plain than that of some other Embassy Suites, but it was still quite nice.

During my stay, the breakfast experience was disappointing—especially the omelette station, where the cook seemed disengaged and uninterested in the role. Staff should pay closer attention to the breakfast area overall. The room also had an unpleasant smell, and the furniture feels dated and could use updating. Front desk service was inconsistent: a few receptionists were friendly, but others were not as welcoming as expected.
