Sandman Hotel Saskatoon

I stayed for 3 days and it was a good value for money. Everything was great, and the staffs were friendly. I was really satisfied with my stay, there's a convenience store really close by as well

The hotel was booked on a second party app, there was no mention that the pool and hot tub was closed on this app. While the hotel staff was apologetic they explained we booked through the second party booker and that it was stated on their site that these amenities were not available. There was some confusion because the company name was not the same as the one I actually booked on. Even after showing hotel staff our confirmation with a different company name they were silent. SO buyer beware that there can be some missing information on these sites. The staff were unable or unwilling to explain how this works and didn't seem to offer much more than a shrug and a weak apology. This seems to place the burden on the consumer to double check the amenities on the hotel's web site and I would recommend taking a screen shot at the time you book as well. That hiccup aside the hotel was just average. The staff could be more responsive. I did left a personal item behind and while I called four different times to the lost and found housekeeping number leaving longer and more pleading messages I did not receive a call back. This was disappointing as well. This hotel would not be my first choice when booking a stay in Saskatoon again.
