A great hotel, but I have to say that $64 a night for valet (There appears to be no self park) and the "Resort Fee" at hotel that is not and does not offer "Resort" level amenities is over the top. The resort fee is clearly because Denver/CO allows them to do it, so the hotel takes advantage of the opportunity to nickel and dime you for an extra $30 and change a night or offer you a price that is $30 a night less and then get you in the fine print. A great hotel, marred by elements of modern slimy business practices.
That said, as a hotel, it is quite nice and put together. The staff was great, walkable (DO keep your eyes and ears open at night as the train station nearby will bring in the Ne'er-do-well - an issue with Denver as a whole), the fitness center is nice enough, the rooms are well done and comfortable, and Ajax (the restaurant) is good (albeit about 25% overpriced). I'd wager that this is likely one of the best hotels in Denver. For food just walk to Tavernetta, which is an incredible restaurant.
Would I stay again? Yes, depending on the room rates to offset the extra fees they will be adding in that they hide. Like I said, as a hotel, they have done a great job.
