    I wanted to stay in the area and very few places were available so we choose Bamboo resort. The grounds are kept clean but the pool, and at least the room where I stayed needed lots of work. The facilities are old. There are even couple of rusted stationary bikes outside that clearly can't be used. There was a huge water stain and black mold in my room. The room floors and bathroom were cleaned daily and fresh towels were provided every time. The front desk staff where kind and helpful. The price was very cheap, and the location very good. If coming back to Phu Quoc, I will search for hotels much earlier as it gets very busy during Christmas /new year.
