    it is our best stay and view in Santorini. overlooking at the Caldera and the cliff with all the background. Also, we went during off-peak and after the earthquake so the rates are very affordable. We also stayed in a cave like room which is very romantic and extraordinary experience in Santorini. The food was very good for us who loves to eat fruits, greek Salad and greek yoghurt. The best!

    Booked a caldera view room and paid extra for terrace. My Agoda booking said 2pm check in but when I arrived just before 3 I was given a slip of paper saying it’s 3 and asked to go wait in bar. I managed all the stairs fine but would’ve been nice if staff had offered to help me with my bags as I’m late 60s n we passed lots of staff. Turned out terrace was shared with room next door and altho there was loads of room to sit there was only a small space apps 6feet, between a large gate n the stairs where we had to take turns with the occupants of the other room to view n photograph the sunset. Not ideal at all. The terrace only gets some the sun in the middle of the day. Altho the swimming pool is quite large there’s only one ladder to get in and nothing at shallow end to get in or out. Some loose tiles round the pool people could hurt their feet on. No sunshades and no pool towels. First thing you see as you turn in towards the pool is a pile of various cleaning equipment which should be tidied away. Hotel was clean and no problems with the bed room. Bathroom was not like any of the photos n only had a hand held shower. Very weak n no hot water. One of the bulbs in the main light right over my head stayed on all night, not that they need night lights as terrace lights on all night and no curtain on the door to close it out. Breakfast was nothing special. Although I was only person there perhaps cos I was solo I was given a seat on a bar stool. Didn’t feel any welcome from any of the staff and as I checked out asked why I hadn’t paid the tourist task. Cos no one had asked. Place needs a lot of maintainace. Not sure if I had their worst room or if I was expecting something similar to the other accommodation I’d stayed in Santorini all week: a beautiful caldera facing hotel in Imerovigli where nothing was too much trouble and two budget properties that were very welcoming and well maintained.

    Location is perfect, breakfast is good. Hotel was build in 1970 and since than noting is done , bedsheets are dirty, towels are dirty. You have hounds of stairs , not just several.
