    I loved staying here! Aside from it was cheap, it gives you a cozy Asian home feeling with the cute aesthetic of the place. The location was spot on, there’s VP bank at the corner of the street and the Hoa Lao Prison is just across and there’s a cute coffee shop nearby. There’s also a lot of stores across the street and it is generally safe because the alley is situated between the Embassy of Cuba and Hanoi Police Museum so there are guards 24/7. Just be careful not to take a photo at these government places as it is prohibited. The landlord or caretaker was nice enough to let us check in early. There’s no elevator so be prepared to use the stairs all the time. Overall, it was a very nice place to stay and I loved the alley way.

    Xung quanh làm đường, sửa nhà nên bụi và ồn. Phòng nhỏ, nóng. Liên hệ chủ nhà (Mr Tuấn) nói đang bận, lát về nhưng ko về. Liên hệ n/v vệ sinh phòng ko nghe máy. Bó tay. May gọi Nhân viên trực tổng đài (Ms Lan) tận tình cho code mới vô được. Tiện nghi, vệ sinh: Bình thường.

    Everything is very nice, the only concern is the bathroom ventilation fan is a bit loud and the water temperature may be hard to get right, otherwise recommend 👌

    The hotel was recommended for the great location. We booked for 3 nights. First the prob was the bed. It was so hard. We did not get a restful sleep. The next building is being renovated so the noise of drilling hammering starts at 7:30 am on a Sunday. Told the owner were awaken by the noise. He talked to the workers and they will work at 8am the following day. But what if we want to wake up late the following day ? He just shrugged his shoulders. There is no elevator and the stairs are too narrow so if you have large or extra large luggage better go find another hotel.
