The stay was great. Staff very friendly. The hotel should have some lower beds for short people. My elderly mother (4’ 10”) had a very hard time getting in and out of the bed. She also felt very unsafe in the shower since the surface was very smooth.

Breakfast waffles were awesome, but scrambled eggs were not hot and coffee was acidic. Room size was large, as was bathroom, but water temp fluctuations during showering was unfortunate, shower leaked onto floor which soaked bath mat, bath towels were small, tissues were 1 ply. Oh and the room door didn’t shut correctly, had to use the key w hen leaving. Sigh.

I’ve been staying here whenever I come to the area to visit family and the staff and service are still great. However, the hotel is starting to show signs of wear and tear and could use some cleaning in specific areas. The room still felt clean and well kept, but the pool was in major need of a deep clean, especially around the rim of the waterline. Also, the carpets in the elevators and heavy use areas could either be cleaned or replaced. It would restore the feel of the hotel to how it was when it first opened. Also, perhaps the thinnest paper plates are not the best idea for breakfast. Anything slightly moist, seeps through them quickly and onto the table surfaces.

We went for 3 nights with 2 teenagers to be close to the delgroso park. The only problem I had was that they dont have enough handicap accessible rooms. The room was large enough for my wheelchair and i could get into the bathroom but they didn't have any shower chairs and reaching the sink but i had help from the hubby but just keep it in mind. Having said that, I would stay again.

Great downtown location. Clean and cool temperature wise. Everyone who worked there were so nice.

Staff was accommodating and responsive to requests. Mattress was comfortable, HVAC unit was relatively quiet and temperature was easily adjusted comfortable. Breakfast was a bit less offerings than typical hotel. Train tracks are close enough to hear the trains at night, traffic road noise in the morning. Downtown, not a lot of restaurant choices in walking distance. Rescue mission is nearby and some folks in area that are in sad circumstances, but did not feel dangerous.
