Beautiful house, friendly staff. The breakfast was excellent. They have a charger for electric/hybrid vehicles. The only negative thing I'd note is that the room had a bit of a strange smell.

My stay was a pleasant experience. This was my first time staying in a hotel with a shared bathroom, but the reviews were pretty good so I gave it a shot. The bathroom is kept very clean and I never had to wait to use it. The building itself is very charming. The staff was very pleasant. The breakfast was great. The shuttle bus into town runs frequently.

Just close enough to town for evenings, and far enough out of town for a good sleep. BUS 2 stops right outside (not 24 hour!) for access to slopes and shops and bars. Breakfast is serious - you could easily stock up with energy til the late afternoon. Hot water is copious - but timing your run to the separate shower can be a pain : that is Austria! Staff are full of gemutlichkeit, and ever willing to help out. The next door Hotel Sonnbichl provides good evening fare if town does not appeal, and all at a sensible price.

Excellent hotel on the outskirts of St Anton. Daily breakfast that had many great options with exceptional service. The room was clean and had breathtaking views from the balcony.

I have been visiting the alps several times, however this was definitely my best stay. For the value you can not find any better accommodation in St. Anton. The rooms are nice, service is superb and the food is high class. Really recommend trying dinner at their resturant. The best in the area by far. So to conclude, I could write endlessly why one should stay here when visiting St. Anton but I am going to try to keep it short. If rooms are availble you can not go wrong booking your stay at Pension der Steinbock - Das.

Passed St Anton on a roadtrip through the Austrian Alps in July and stopped at Pension der Steimbock. Arriving out of hours we checked in at the hotel next to Pension der Steinbock. Breakfast was also served in that building. Room was clean and nicely kept. Free parking is next to the front door.

Close to St Anton. Room is tidy and the window opened wide with a view of the mountains. Breakfast was hearty with a selection of meats, eggs, bread, dairy and cereals, with juices and coffees. Enjoyed my stay

Been to St.Anton many times now and this was about the best place I've been. Our rooms were comfy and fairly large. Der Steinbock lays close to the busstop and just a short bustrip to nearest cable car, Nasserainbahn. Der Steinbock had great breakfast. I have only positive feedback except for one thing - when I booked through Expedia, I was told to pay the the hotel i local valuta. But when we came to pay with Euros the hotel said they already had taken money from my creditcard. This was our last day, so then we had to bring a lot of Euros back home to Norway. Not a big problem, but still pretty boring.
