Please accommodation but awkward hosts

Rooms good size and clean, nice wellness centre

Owners spoke no English and even german guests struggled to be understood . Hosts not very friendly, and even rude at times, and instructions for use of wellness were not clear.

Amazing location, lovely facilities, significant language barrier

Superb location. Just outside of the main town so it was quiet but close enough to a bus stop to get around easily. The facilities were great. They had a small, onsite naked sauna and steam room open every day except Sunday. The apartment we stayed in had nearly everything we needed to self cater (except an oven). The hosts were (overall) great, despite language barriers they tried their best to help and be friendly.

We were in Austria where people speak German. I don't speak German. The hosts don't speak English. Ultimately, it's on me to try and communicate in German. I tried my best (using Google Translate a lot), but there were just a few too many miscommunications to give them a 10/10 review. Miscommunications often resulted in anger and frustration from the host. For example, I told him our taxi to the airport was at 16:30, and then he randomly booked us a taxi for 14:30 and got angry that we didn't use his taxi.

Everything. The owners are an old couple who speak limited english. They are so nice and try to explain everything to us.

Good location for a short holiday, friendly host!

Cozy hotel where we had the 4 person apartment, which had 2 sleeping rooms, 2 bath rooms and a separate living room. Very nice wellness with sauna and steam bath

Nice place for a reasonable price.

Great SPA area with towels provided for free. Big parking. Nice ski room with boot dryers. The hosts are an old couple that only speaks German. Relatively good continental breakfast. It is very clean and the towels get changed regularly. The ski bus #2 and #5 stop is in the 5 min walking distance. It takes 15-20 min to get to the Main village (West stop), and ~10 min to get to Nasserein. The host provides with the vouchers for a ski depo, so one could leave the equipment direct at the lifts.

There is no "do not disturb" signs that one could put on the door. We had a couple of cases when a host would come in while people were in the apartments. The breakfast is ok for 15 EUR but not great. The only warm option is an egg that can be boiled for you by the host. The coffee machine can be operated by the host only. In general you feel like you are being watched :) We had a bit of confusion on the day of arrival and people got mixed up between the rooms and apartments. The host sends an online form to fill out the guest details 2-3 days before the check-in, but you are still being asked to do the same in paper during check-in

Amazing winter stay! would love to go back in the summer for biking!

This place is beautiful! we stayed for a fantastic week in March 2022 to ski and snowboard in St Anton. It’s immaculately clean, beautifully presented, the beds are SOOO comfy and the owners (who built the chalet and have run it for many years!) are lovely - they don’t speak a single word of English which made for a hilarious almost Fawlty Towers style arrival, but we soon got chatting using lots of hand gestures and Google translate, and felt very welcome and were so sad to have to leave. The location is great - the bus stops at the end of the lane, is very efficient and free during the day so we never felt too ‘out of it’ from the main resort area. It was actually lovely to be slightly removed from the immediate town centre, it’s very peaceful down at the chalet. The wellness centre downstairs is amazing - steam room, sauna, and cascade showers, and loungers to relax after a day on the slopes was awesome. we spent a lot of money going to the outdoor pool in St Anton and shouldn’t have bothered - the facilities on site at the chalet are better!

The only problem we had was that the supermarket is in the main village of St Anton and we didn’t have anywhere to get any supplies the first night we arrived late on a Sunday when everything was closed. thankfully I took a bag of pasta and jar of pesto in our luggage otherwise we would have been pretty hungry! A basic food welcome pack for late arrivals would be a good idea, even if this was a paid extra. Also they could really desperately do with a folder in each room, containing all the local information, bus times, shops, restaurant recommendations etc, in different languages. although it was lovely chatting and establishing this from the owners, it would have been really helpful.

super clean , comfortable place , everything we needed was there

unfortunately we had mixed feelings , we didn’t feel welcome as guests and were treated more like intruders or rudely ignored by one of then owners. the lady was very kind even though only spoke German, communication was ok , but we were shockingly treated in the spa facilities and at random encounters in the hallway by the husband.

The appartement is spacious and the sauna-hammam is nice.

The landlords speak only German and don’t imagine that you may not understand them. The written and oral instructions are in German and you get nastily lectured (in German…) if you don’t follow them. An unpleasant experience. The apartment is underground and has only roof windows from which you can get just a glimpse at the sky.

Wir haben schon einige Pensionen als Urlaubsunterkunft gebucht. Das Landhaus Zauser hat uns sehr beeindruckt. Frau u. Herr Zauser haben uns regelrecht verwöhnt. Herr Zauser hat uns jeden Morgen Tipps zur Tagesgestaltung gegeben. Alles war picobello sauber. Absolut empfehlenswert.

Gastfreundlichkeit wird großgeschrieben

Familie Zauser ist unglaublich freundlich und lässt keine Wünsche offen. Das Haus und die Zimmer sind sehr sehr sauber und mit liebe eingerichtet. Die Lage ist großartig und es ist sehr ruhig. Man ist in weniger als 5 Minuten mit dem Auto an den Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Das Frühstück ist super. Wir waren die einzigen Gäste in der Zeit und wir haben jeden Morgen frische Brötchen und verschiedenen Wurstaufschnitt bekommen. Alles was das Herz begehrt war da. Auch die laktosefreie Milch wurde für mich besorgt. Die Zimmer waren super sauber und die Betten sehr bequem. Wir werden definitiv wieder kommen und können die Unterkunft zu 100 % weiterempfehlen. Vielen Dank Familie Zauser für eine schöne Zeit.

Muy buen trato

La zona de Spa estaba asombrosamente bien. Kristine siempre estaba muy servicial en los desayunos y siempre con una sonrisa, simplemente muy agradable atenta y muy amable. El anfitrión (me cuesta ahora mismo recordar el nombre) también muy atento y amable. Les agradezco mucho su atención, y ojalá no sea la ultima vez que me pueda alojar en su hotel.

Lo único que se me ocurre decir(por decir algo) es que el domingo tienen la zona de spa cerrada. Pero bueno eso son las reglas de la casa, con lo cual se aceptan y ya esta, del resto…. Me gusto mucho la estancia ahi.
