    We had a wonderful stay at oriental hotel. Great staffs. Clean facilities

    Room is tastefully decorated & mostly clean. But shower head is fixed, so I find it not convenient to use. Basin in room is small, hence water will be easily splattered everywhere when tap is turned on. The aircon started leaking profusely on my first night. But the front desk lady help me fix the problem right away when told the next day. This front desk lady (wore glasses) speak good English & is efficient & helpful throughout my stay. Good hospitality from her, but the rest of the staff are just so-so. Hotel shows signs of age but looks well maintained overall. But for me, the location is not so ideal as there are almost no food options around the property & 7-11 is quite a walk away. Train station is also quite far to walk to, but still possible. Good thing is that it's in a less chaotic part of the city & the pavement walking towards the train station feels calmer. Good for guest who likes a quieter environment & don't mind walking a bit for food & transport.

    The Hotel location is in the middle of the town, where we could even see the famous Iconsiam from our bedroom. The staff could try to be more nicer especially the senior guy one. Unlike the Bali staff from where we came from, where everyone is so attentive, helpful and full of smile. Location wise is quite close with the harbour, so you can reach Iconsiam or join the dinner cruise easily from here. Also breakfast options is so poor, if you stay here for only 2 nights is still okay. But us, 4nights in a row, being served the exact same menu options is kinda dissapointing compare to the price we pay. The hotel should try to hbe better with their breakfast options. But overall the stays were good. 😊
