The suite was very spacious and entire family could easily be there. I love that the master bedroom was separate from the other bedroom. And also there were two separate bathrooms, although there’s only one. The 24 hour reception was staff friendly, especially Michael, and they answered all questions and attended to our needs. The only problem that we have was with the Wi-Fi in the room was very bad, we hardly could stay connected. Also, the electrical system either we didn’t know how to use it right or there were some issues with lights. Other than that, we had a great day and the city is lovely to visit and a good Bass to visit Venice. It is close to the train station. All you have to do is cross the street and you’re there.

The hotel was ok apart form the air conditioning didn’t work as we had a faulty window sensor. However it was fixed after a while. The area around the hotel felt unsafe to walk around in. However it is an excellent location for grabbing the train into Venice!

Hotel’s breakfast was a decent array of choices from cold to hot menu items. The train station is a one minute walk from hotel, yet the rooms are quiet, you don’t hear the trains at all. Too many youth and few unsavory characters of various persuasions seem to loiter around Padova and Italy in general, but they don’t panhandle or bother you, so it was fine. I would highly recommend this hotel, we stayed 2 nights and loved it.

Excellent stay, the only unfortunate was that I stayed just 9 hours, I would have loved to spend more time in my room, which was lovely. The hotel is conveniently located next to the train station and with a view on the central square I had a great panorama. See you a next time in Padova.

During my stay in this hotel, I met the issue the hotel was out of power started from 8:30am. I had to ask the staff to help me to take my luggage to the ground floor.

Excellent 2 day stay, very close to the train station, although no restaurant there are plenty within easy walking distance. Walked for miles around the town and always felt safe. Staff very helpful and knowledgeable.

Chosen as an economical night near the train station. However, the area is not great. Luckily, there is a tram to the center and basilica of St Anthony. The hotel is clean, but not as “grand” as it might have been decades ago when it got 4stars.

The location is very convenient to go anywhere using trains and buses as well as restaurants and markets. It takes only about 20 min to Venezia. The room was clean, spacious, and very quiet. The hotel receptions and all stuffs are very friendly and helpful as well. We’re very happy with the service and quality.

But not the Hotel Grand'Italia. Padova itself is well worth a visit; many beautiful and interesting artworks and architecture.

The hotel is great and the location is super handy to walk to downtown and take the train to go to Mestre/Venice. The area is not the nicest but it's far from ugly or insecure. There's police in the entrance of the train station, we walked at night there and we never felt insecure.

Despite being right across from train station, not much noise Hotel clean, friendly helpful staff. Building is kinda old, my room small (and inexpensive!), elevator slow, but they do well with what they have. Clean and well maintained. Would stay here again.
