Our favorite place in Palm Springs Beautiful quiet romantic

This past weekend, my friends and I visited Palm Springs for a birthday. We were invited to check-out and stay at the Villa Royale for the weekend. From the beginning of our experience come Friday to the last moments of leaving our room, we had experienced real service and appreciation as guests. I had called early morning on Friday to confirm our reservation, as it was our first time using Agoda. The staff, super friendly, and as I discussed our potential timeframe the gentleman that helped us was super accommodating and even allowed us to check-in a bit earlier given the heat and even when they were at full capacity. We were shocked. During our stay, the staff kept us up todate with Text messages, links, wifi passwords, menus, and accommodiations for our dogs. They even went as far as to put clean, like-new dog beds, bowls, treats and toys in our room to make sure sure our furry nuggets were comfortable. Never ever have we seen that. We were able to check-in early as promised, get to our room and even given some very tasty, refreshing and woo-hoo strong sangrias complimentry from the staff. The Villa is beyond exceptional, especially in person. It nicely spaced, 3 pools, great staff, and the food at the Del Rey, omg. I was just ugh. So GOOOOOD. JC our server on Saturday night, Brilliant human being and they were able to make our experience and stay just ... perfect. Aside from the 118 degree heat all weekend, we had the most enjoyable stay and we would highly recommend it. HIGHLY. This boutique villa is for sure a must stay experience. Step away from corporate hotels and experience a real Luxury comfort and exceptional adults only stay at the VIlla Royale, you won't be disappointed. We will be back in October... for sure.

Got upgraded to a king suite, it had a large living room, sink/refrigerator room, a walk in closet and separate bedroom. Super nice and clean! The pools were awesome and a necessity in the 110 degree weather. Loved this place and will definitely be back!

Where do I even begin. I booked this resort for my birthday to stay with my best friend for 3 nights who has never been to Palm Springs. Based on reviews and the prices we were expecting top notch, that is not what we got. It was communicated a number of times prior to the trip it was for a bday so any acknowledgment would have been nice but we will skip that part. First day of arrival our day at the pool was filled with sounds of construction. Morning one we were worked up to blaring sounds of music at 8am of the pool speaker outside of window. Once we decided to go to the pool located by our room there were no towels or water to be found. After asking a number of times they were finally provided after 2.5 hours. The security gate was constantly left open and we woke up to cake left outside our door the last morning with a message left for us by who we do not know and the hotel said it wasn’t them. SCARY!!!! The linens on the bed are so soiled I’d love to provide a pic but just use your imagination. The swamp cooler that is the AC smells of stale mold and mildew and is a level of noise it makes it hard to sleep. Lastly there is no TV just apps you have to use your own sign in for so after a long day if you want unwind not only are you paying an arm and a leg to stay here you need to use your own subscriptions to watch television. This is just a small portion of the issues we had here. Honestly we would’ve left but decided to explore the city and try to make the most of our stay. My advice save your money and stay elsewhere.
