The hotel is undergoing a major refurbashing so two of the floors were completely under construction, so to speak. We had a newly renovated room. Positives include free parking and a nice breakfast. The room we had was also of a good size, with a nice couch, and a small separate area with a microwave, simple coffee maker, and a nice sink with water. There was also a writing desk and enough outlets for charging. Also the staff were all extremely professional and friendly. Finally the hotel is within easy walking distance of a number of stores and restaurants, as well as close to the entrance to Interstate 93.
The only negatives were the small space in the separate shower/toilet area. The shower was a nice size but there was so little room between the door and the toilet that you had to carefull step aside to close the door and if you were not careful you would bump into the shower wall and that makes a noise -- not great in the middle of the night. Also, there as not coffee table in front of sofa -- possible there is something on order as there was a carpet there. Finally, the layout only left room for a pretty small closet, although it was plenty big for our short stay.
I would have given it 4.5 stars but that is not an option.

place was clean. Short uber drive to downtown Boston (usually 20 min's or less). Would stay here again. Only issue was that one of the elevators was broken during our stay - stuff happens.
