Staff were nice, the room was clean, and it’s close to Assembly Row and the metro train. It's a safe area. The air conditioning in the room is strong and quiet.
Arriving very late in the evening, we were told that breakfast was until 10:00 on Wednesday morning. It’s 9:30 and we almost missed it the first morning. The double queen rooms are not especially spacious. The room safe was not functional upon check-in and someone had to come up and reset it. There was a pair of previous occupants' socks hanging in the closet upon check-in. The shower handle droops while you shower and the water becomes too hot. (Room 521). Breakfast is satisfactory quality, but having single-use disposable plastic cutlery, cups, and plates is unacceptable in 2026. This is a Marriott hotel and we don't expect these problems with this brand.
