This hotel was recommended by a friend who lives in Rio and I understand why. The location is near the Ipanema beach, safer than Copacabana, the rooms and facilities are nice and clean, and the staff is friendly and helpful. We reserved the 6 hour city/Cristo tour with them which was a good choice. We also enjoyed the spa for massages which were also very nice.

Wonderful, friendly, helpful staff. Great breakfast. Nice gym. Comfortable beach chairs and good umbrellas to use on the nearby beach. Nice management and very good security.
