Rolled up to see the hostess Jennifer smoking outside with some customers, so she reeked of cigarettes the entire time we were checking in. Then it took a very long time standing at the desk for her to GET us checked in while she complained to us (the customers) about her boss changing her password continually. Lobby was not horrible but dated. I picked this place because it looked nice on the pictures and looked like it had a good breakfast, but we didn't get to enjoy that. Room was on the third floor. The elevator looked like something from a surgery ward in a hospital with lights so bright I could've read a book with my eyes closed. Pool didn't look bad but we didn't get to enjoy that either. When we opened the room the smell of decade old cigarette smoke hit us straight away, and was all we could smell all night, even after bombing the room with an entire can of Lysol. The room was damp from humidity no matter what we set the AC at. Everything was dingy and smelly and soggy. The bathroom sink was cracked and caulked. My wife turned back the covers and immediately found some bugs crawling on the sheet. The carpet felt greasy from humidity and dinginess. When the door was shut and locked you could clearly see the hallway lights on all four sides. Generally not an enjoyable experience in any way. The night was miserable and damp so we decided to get up in the middle of the night and move on.

The beds were the most comfortable beds for a hotel that I have ever slept on. The sheets were super soft. It did t feel like I was sleeping on starched sandpaper. This is a great place to stay!

Beds were so comfortable and room was clean. Took a quick trip and only stayed one night. We would stay there again. It was close by the casino and racetrack we were visiting.

The Comfort Inn was perfect for our one night stay. It was conviently located off the interstate. The lady who checked us in was very friendly. The room was clean and smelled fresh. The free breakfast offered a great variety of food. I would recommend staying here.

When we got there none of the grounds were mowed. Dandelions were a foot tall. We checked in and my PayPal card was charged twice. Two other groups also had their cards charged twice. Not sure what that was about. When we went to our rooms 3 out of 4 card keys did not work. One of the door units needed batteries which an employee had to leave the grounds to get. The next day the door card reader stopped working even with new batteries. There was less than a box of tissues and one partial roll of toilet paper in the bathroom. We had to go down the check in counter to get more. The mattresss and pillows were decent and we slept well. Breakfast was average eggs sausage bacon biscuits and gravy etc. no problem checking out.

We enjoyed our stay! The staff was friendly and welcoming! The property is agenda but but the staff keep it clean and it smells good (random but we mentioned it everytime walked through the lobby). The town is small so the dining options are limited; however there were a few restaurants downtown I would have loved to try if we stayed any other day but Sunday when they are closed.
