The room’s AC didn’t work and it was miserable hot all night. No exhaust fan in the smallest bathroom we have ever seen.

Staff were very courteous. This location was very busy due to the Penguins game and a youth volleyball convention. Despite the business, all staff we encountered were helpful, polite, and friendly. The desk staff offered a complimentary upgrade for our stay due to a situation with sleeping arrangements. We appreciated everything they did for us. The hotel was clean. Check-in/check-out were both very easy. Parking was convenient, though expensive due to shared parking with PPG arena. Would definitely stay here again.

Rooms are old and dated the Wi-Fi operates at a snails pace. The elevator situation is abysmal. Don’t stay here unless you know there are no events going on in the area. The front desk people are nice.

Convenient location to attend Penguins game. Also walking distance to downtown restaurants. Reasonable price for the room. Parking was a bit expensive. Employees at front desk served us well. Our room was stylish, in good condition, and was comfortable.

The room was beautiful. It was set up perfectly for two adults to move freely, without being in the other's way. We brought our own soap, but there were soap and shampoo dispensers installed in the shower. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I went out for my usual morning run and a staff member gave me clear and precise directions on how to get to the North Shore and back

The hotel is located very convenient for the hockey game at the PPG arena. The room was clean, spacious enough. The beds were on the small side. Comfortable hotel but nothing special in my opinion. Staff was very nice, allowing us to check in earlier. There were a lot of people after the game, but it was quiet on the floor.

It was ok. Our room was right by the elevator, so we heard a constant rolling noise, even after hours. It sounded like someone was constantly rolling a cart past our room. The salmon I ordered from the hotel restaurant was raw inside. Fortunately I saw that before I ate the inside. Glad I didn't get food poisoning and have to miss the concert. They did give me a refund for it. After the concert, all hotel guests had to wait for the elevators, which took a while. The stairs were locked, but I was told they would be unlocked if there was an emergency and we had to come down quickly from the 15th floor. Have stayed at nicer places for less money, but it was close to the concert venue.

We chose this Marriott because of the proximity to the PPG arena. My experience with Marriott hotels has always been good until now. First, our room was very cold. We turned the heat up and it got colder. When my husband called the desk to see if the problem could be addressed, they sent up several sheets. To be fair an offer was made to change rooms but we were already ready for bed and didn’t want to go through the hassle of packing and unpacking. In addition we had to call for a hair dryer and it took more than 20 minutes to get to it, breakfast was dull and expensive, and the rm looked shabby. I am solidly behind not changing sheets and towels daily but I do like to be told about it. When we returned in the evening to an unmade bed, I was annoyed. I would have made the bed myself had I known. I expected more from a Marriott and I will certainly think twice before I stay in another one.

Clean room although it was an accessibility room which we did not need. The room heater/ac was full on ac but when we told the front desk they immediately had someone fix it. The staff were delightful and attentive. The room could have been updated but the bed and pillows were comfortable.
