Studio 6 Extended stay Indianapolis, IN - North Carmel

Hotel staff was inconsiderate and did not have supplies since I let towels or blankets for the fold out sofa. Threatened to call the cops because we were an hour late renewing our room for the second night. Avoid this place. It is a last resort situation if necessary

Positives: bed comfortable, extra pillows, price, parking Negatives: old, strong moldy smell in room, only 2 towels and was not given any extra, no 24hr front desk service, charges for every local call made

No elevator or coffee machine in the room. Kitchen but no glasses.

Staff was cery friendly and accommodating. My bed was very comfortable and the AC was blowing cold. However there is not utensils or cookwear to use in the kitchen as mentioned. The kitchen floor was sticky and the remote didn't work at first. I was able to get another remote at least. Aside from that my stay was not bad for the price.

This is the 3rd time I have attempted to put employees there and each time they have complained of insects in the rooms

It was a good place to stay . It has a kitchen and a nice comfortable bed. But the shower hot water was broken and since it was the weekend they couldn’t fi it until Monday that I left. But the General Manager Charlotte took care of the issue . She is very professional and an asset to the hotel. Kudos to Charlotte and thank you.

Hard to contact front desk, even when you go up there usually not a person available. The ones we did find were friendly and helpful. The dog area was super convenient. Room had funky smell.

All good…!

Waited 35 minutes to check in. No staff anywhere. Would not recommend.

It smelled bad

Due to a flight and a long drive from ORD, I arrived at the Carmel ESA around 3:40 AM. There was a phone at the door, so I picked it up and dialed 1 for check-in service. It was a pleasant experience—the ESA service lady came out and opened the door to assist with my check-in. Thank you, ESA!

No one at hotel for check in. Have to call a number and wait for someone to drive over and check you in. I arrived to check in around 10pm...

The bed was comfortable but the room was full of pet hair. Luckily I’ve grown out of my animal hair allergies. There were no bathroom essentials such as an hair dryer or shampoo and conditioner. Thank God there was a bar of soap.

No complaints! Thank you for the stay! It meet us right in the middle of the road on price. We had to travel for soccer and the hotel pricing allowed us to stay within budget and enjoying dinning along with our stay. It wasn't fancy but I just needed a simple clean place to lay my head for the weekend.

Good property. Nice size room with kitchenette and dining table.

I have stayed at many Extendad stays and this was the worst. Staff was not prepared. Room was not available after normal checking in time. Had to wait. Aircondition in the room did not work. Bath tub was scratched up pretty bad. had to take cold showers.

Worked Well

I had to stand out in the rain to get into the lobby because it was “after hours.” It was almost midnight, to be fair, but standing in the rain, having the operator transfer to someone on site while I was getting rained on was frustrating. And no elevator. But, it was also the cheapest stay in the area, so that’s the payoff

Enjoy this location better than Chicago. Did not like having to pay for dishes. Bed and pillows were uncomfortable. Overall I liked the layout of the room and the front desk staff.

The customer service at the front desk by Anjel was awesome. The hair in the shower, on the bathroom door, and the dirty walls/pictures were aweful. Never, never, never again would I stay at an Extended Stay property.

Nobody at front or answered phone at checkout. Had some issues with room i wanted to inform them of. But a good stay.

My husband and I woke up with bites on us. I did a quick peek of bedding and couldn’t see any visible bugs. But we both ended up with 3-4 bites each.

Shoneice was great at the front desk. We had great conversation. Room was clean and very accomodating.

My husband and co-workers have been staying here for over a month and I can not tell you how wonderful this hotel is. The staff goes over and beyond to help with any needs their customers may have. I am so thankful we found this little gem in Carmel.

Lovely all around- I arrived on Christmas night after a long drive, was welcomed by Niah, and quickly settled into a comfortable room.

Don't stay here. Had to phone in for check in. Cold outside waiting for someone to open the door. Made me extra cautious of the area. Carpet in room completely torn up. Pillows uncomfortable. Mattress was decent. Staff didn't make you feel welcomed at all.

We arrived there at 2:45 pm and we were told that the room was not ready (check in was at 3pm) so we waited a little, then we were given the key cards but when we got to the room it looked like no one had done any cleaning! We went back to front desk but the attendant did not believe us and went to check for herself! She came back and confirmed that the room had not been cleaned! She left for about 30 minutes and came back to give us a different room. We tried to use the shower but there was no hot water, the front desk told us the plumber was fixing the boiler, a couple of hours later there was still no hot water so we left to have dinner (I informed the front desk that there was still no hot water before leaving and the lady told me that it took time for water to heat up!). We got back around 7:30 pm and there was still no hot water. I tried calling the front desk but no one answered the phone! I tried the front desk in the morning and there was still no one there. I went to check and a housekeeper told me that it is not open till 10am!!! We kept getting promised that the hot water issue would be fixed but that didn't happen. We left the next day, my wife found a bug crawling in the bathroom! The place is run down and in need of complete renovations. We booked the studio but to our surprise there was not a single kitchen item other than a rusted microwave. They didn't even have a coffee maker or cups. This was a disastrous stay as we were traveling with a toddler.

How do you run a hotel with no one on site and the phone on the outside of the building rings to no where? We checked in at 4pm. and immediately left to meet friends for dinner. Thank goodness we did because when we got back to the hotel at 10:30 no one was there.7:00 am we get up to shower and no hot water. Go to the front desk and no one there. Other guests said they haven't have hot water since 4:00 pm the night before and no one to report it to. No amenities in the room, no coffee. Just not a good experience.

Terrible stay it was dirty there were white stains on mirror drawers were disgusting room was in terrible shape do not stay here!
