    I stayed at the Old Waverly for a week with mom and my 1yo son. everyone there was really kind and friendly. we loved the place, and all he acommodations they made for us. You should know that it is not accessible for wheelchair though, as it has stairs at the front door. Staff will help carry stroller and luggage, but I don't know how it could work for a wheelchair.

    Me and my mum had a wonderful stay at the Waverley- the hotel was so comfortable , clean and central. 5 minute walk from the Scottish gallery full of incredible art work . We could also see the Scott monument outside our window which was amazing! We had to fly the next day and the tram to the airport is just around the corner from the hotel so really easy to get to. Lovely breakfast and wonderful staff. Thankyou !

    Extremely difficult if you have heavy luggage. No lift and no help to bring it up to the lobby or down to the ground level. Only one small lift to the rooms from the lobby level. On one occasion we had to wait for two turns before we could get on. It is likely we were fortunate we did not stay the weekend even though we had booked for the weekend. We had also asked for help to repair the shower head which did not stay up and we had to hold it with our hand to bathe. There was no water supply in the room. But we had the option of getting water at the bar, an inconvenient arrangement. Also, very early check-out at 11.00am and extremely calculative for late check-out at £20 per hour.
