Convenient location, reasonably priced. Building is a little worn out but rooms are clean and ours had been updated. Only negative was surly, resentful desk clerk who acted like she’d rather be anywhere else. To make it worse, she had a screaming baby with her at the desk.

Limited parking spaces but there were overflow parking from nearby lots with vouchers. Staff failed to explain in detail and also did not provide the voucher causing me to double pay. The breakfast was frozen croissant and other usual DIY waffles, cereal and juices from the bottles. The in room safe was laying bare!! on the floor in the vanity area which was a concern. The good thing was that it was close to the restaurants that you could easily walk to.

This is a motel with doors opening to the outside. As a result (and because the door wasn’t airtight) it was quite loud. The place is dated and basic but did have a fridge and microwave. The room was clean and we appreciated that it was downtown and had parking. Breakfast was fine.

Older hotel, basic accommodations but excellent location just a block or so from the edge of the downtown area with lots of cafes, pubs and shops. The staff was courteous and the breakfast was good.

For the price it’s incredibly clean! The decor is far from modern and it all looks a little rough, but rooms are huge (by European standards anyway) and very clean. Staff very helpful, breakfast very basic but def ok for the price. Be advised though that one whole wall of each room is window, like a store front basically. So you will need to keep the curtains fully closed unless you want the whole street to see your whole room. So essentially “no windows” unless you’re happy with that. I didn’t mind, as a place to just sleep it was more than fine.

The hotel is downtown, but the area is sketchy, lots of homeless people. The hotel is very run down, needs repairs and the pictures are deceiving. Staff were very helpful. Breakfast minimal and they do not do housekeeping on a daily basis.

Close to downtown without the hefty price tag. It was a bit dated, but the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The only drawback was the loud noise from the street. Maybe you can try to request a room at the back of the building instead of the front.

We enjoyed our stay! Location is perfect, no need to drive anywhere, many restaurants, pubs etc in walking distance. We had no prob with parking even with the hotel fully booked. It was everything we needed, no the breakfast was elaborate, there were waffles, fruit, yogurt cereal and more, however for the price it was great! Heather at the front desk was friendly and helpful, something we really appreciate!

Staff was friendly and very helpful at check in. Our room was right on the street and was very loud with the traffic going by, but it quieted down early enough to fall asleep. Room was adequate and clean for a night’s stay. The hotel is older but was super convenient for a concert at Asheville Yards, and very close to shops, restaurants and other downtown attractions.

if you’re looking for a super swanky place to stay, this is not your spot! However, if you are looking for a reasonably priced motel in a perfect location, this is for you. I’m so glad I stayed there. The other hotels in town were over $400 for the night. The room was clean. The staff were nice. The location was perfect. I would say check it out!
