Great hotel in an historic building just out of the noisy fray of the French Quarter, though even in this location hearing the odd boisterous revelry in the street can’t be helped, if you’re in a front street room.
The room was very clean and comfortable and I loved the charm of the lobby/salon with old fireplace and a few well placed antiques. A surprisingly good price for this charming stay with security entrance and secured parking.

The hotel was nice overall, but I was disappointed that the room doors didn’t have an interior safety latch or swing-bar lock. As a parent traveling with young children, that extra layer of security provides peace of mind. I hope the hotel considers adding them in the future to make families with kids feel safer during their stay.
