⭐ 1/5 — I would absolutely not recommend staying here\. A few weeks before our stay, a friend and I booked rooms together and specifically called the hotel beforehand to make sure we could have adjoining rooms\. He was traveling with a dog and I was traveling with my kids, and we were told that would not be a problem\. The only thing they mentioned was that he could not have a king\-size bed if we wanted adjoining rooms, which was completely fine\. When he checked in on Friday, he was told the same thing\. Then when I arrived Saturday, I was suddenly told that dogs have to stay on the first floor and there are no adjoining rooms on the first floor\. I was extremely confused because we had specifically called ahead to confirm this exact situation\. The woman working at the front desk was very kind and helpful and honestly was the only bright spot of the stay\. She offered to put me in the room directly next to my friend instead\. Oddly enough, once we got into the rooms, we discovered that they actually WERE adjoining rooms\. Even the front desk employee was surprised and said she had no idea\. Unfortunately, when we opened the connecting doors between the rooms, there was garbage and old dog food sitting in that area\. It was disgusting\. The next morning, we went down for the continental breakfast and several items were already out, including sausage\. Instead of simply explaining the situation, the employee working breakfast was incredibly rude and defensive, telling us it wasn’t their fault because they don’t order the food\. The attitude was completely unnecessary, so we left and paid to eat breakfast somewhere else\. The pool was probably the best part for the kids\. It is definitely an older setup, but they had fun and there were always towels available\. We also went to Walmart and spent around $60 on fresh fruit and snacks to keep in our hotel refrigerator, including a large fruit tray, apples, mangoes, and other items\. When we went to eat it, everything had completely frozen in the refrigerator and had to be thrown away\. That was incredibly frustrating and a complete waste of money\. The worst part, however, was the overwhelming smell of marijuana in and around our room\. It was so strong that my kids repeatedly asked me what the smell was\. We actually had to go buy room spray because our room smelled so bad\. This wasn’t just a faint or stale smell — it seemed like someone nearby was repeatedly smoking because the smell would come and go and become incredibly strong\. There is absolutely no way someone walking through that hallway would not have noticed it\. The first night I thought we could deal with it, but by the second day and second night it had become ridiculous\. If we hadn’t already had all of our belongings unpacked and spread throughout the room, I honestly would have packed everything up and left\. Between the incorrect information about the adjoining rooms, the garbage and old dog food between the rooms, the rude breakfast experience, $60 worth of food being ruined by the refrigerator, and the overwhelming marijuana smell around my children, this stay was completely unacceptable\. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone, and at this point I genuinely feel that some type of refund is warranted\.

My 11 year old son loves the water slides

The pool was great for grandson. Breakfast was good Room was good Stair wells---carpets need a deep cleaning or replaced, same in upper levels of hallway. Centers area look cleaner but areas next to walls are very dirty like stair wells. Otherwise, daughter wants to stay there again next year for Fargo Wrestling National Tournament.

The rooms are clean and the accommodations basic. There is a light breakfast provided.
