Smells like cigarettes as soon as you walk in the room

It smelled like cigarette smoke, we had asked for ground floor due to my spouses mobility, ADA disability and we were only given a third floor room. Elevator was broken. We had no option for other rooms, we arrived at 1 AM and we’re told we could cancel or take the third floor room. The refrigerator was unplugged in the room and had no place to plug it in so was not functional the entire hotel complex was populated by unhoused people because they told us the hotel was sold out and there were no cars in the parking lot. We were disturbed at 2 AM by someone banging on the door, looking for Larry, Hotel staff later told us Larry had lived in our room for three months when we raised these issues and problems with staff, they were told they had no way to fix the problem and we could move to a better room in the morning, but the next day we were told they were sold out and they could not move us rooms Overall, a terrible experience

The room was dirty. The mattress felt broken. The furniture was old and marked with dings. The wall and trim in the bathroom behind the toilet was peeling. The grout in the tub was black and dirty. My husband had an allergic reaction probably to the fan through the ac system. It was so uncomfortable that we left at 4 AM to drive home.

My bank card was charged 3 times of $75 for a depsit which caused me to havevtobend myvstay because the money to book my room again was in limbo. No manager all weekend to solve the problem. So Monday morningvi hadvto check outwith 2 days of work left . I paid an initial deposit of $75. Didn't finish the job so i booked again and was charged another $75 depositvwithout my knowledge. Looked at my bank card andcthat deposit was scheduled for refund, still is. And at 4:29 a.m. my bank card was charged another $75 deposit.So i checked out and its Monday morning. Nobroom to stay and my bank card shredded by this hotel

Room was fine, nothing special. Now, the "breakfast" provided by the hotel is a joke! No food, no fruit, no yogurt, no cereal, no nothing! You would think that they would at least make up for it with providing decent coffee, NO. The coffee was warm brown water.

The room was clean. The hotel breakfast didn't start till 7 which was too late for me to join and seems late in general. They happily delivered pillows to my room when i called the front desk. I can't tell if it used to be a bad hotel that theyre making nice again or if it was a nice hotel thats becoming bad as the people standing outside the rooms looked unsavory but there would be an escalade parked in the parking lot. It was confusing.

Neighbors were so noisy the entire time we were there. Pretty sure some of them LIVED at the hotel. We saw into some of the peoples rooms and they had decorations and furniture in them that were definitely not hotel fixtures. Drug deals went down in the parking lot. Dogs from upstairs were going crazy at ungodly hours of the night. At 7:30 am one of them started blasting reggaeton music at full volume. Tv was broken, The room was clean and the bed was comfortable, though, so props to the cleaning staf

My room key didn’t work, had to go back to the front desk which they then put me in a different room on the third floor. Elevators didn’t work the entire 2nd day of our stay. Continental breakfast was sorry, just a bagged bagged muffin, coffee was empty.

The facilities were not adequate. Room was uninhabitable and at the staff was not helpful. Especially Matt C. The front desk person in charge the night I stayed. I told him about the room and how it was dirty and uninhabitable, he said there’s nothing he can do there’s no free rooms and refused to help me any further. While I stood at the desk, another group came to check in and they were helped by him, so there were still rooms available. Horrible staff and horrible customer service.

We have stayed at this property regularly for several years to visit family. It has been clean, safe, convenient and pet friendly. This time, however, the clientele was much rougher, the trash cans were overflowing, people were in the walkways at two in the morning, talking and knocking on doors. Not the family friendly place we know and love. I plan to talk to the manager when she is available. But I would be careful about booking here, especially during the weekdays.
