    I have visited SF over my entire lifetime and have stayed at most every big name hotel and a range of smaller boutique hotels but none has impressed as much for its value, hospitality, and a truly unique atmosphere of restored vintage glory and modern comfort. The front desk staff are excellent as is the breakfast in a charming setting. The Butterfly Bar with its collections of the original owner is fascinating. Thank you Hotel Magestic! You are my new favorite when visiting the City.

    Junior queen suite was very large, amazingly clean and comfortable. Area is quiet and in a good location. Very nice hotel overall.

    Love everything about this. There are minor complaints but I got a great deal to stay in this truly majestic hotel so I am happy :)

    Rude evening desk person. Water was turned off with no advance notice. The staff brought us bottled water to rinse off with after being soapy from the shower. No separate shower. Rude bartender. I asked for an early breakfast to go on 2 of the days as we were getting picked up very early for tours and for the airport. The hotel did not accommodate. Not a pleasant experience!
