    Manager was way rude, she gaslite me after she abruptly stopped assisting me with my room and then told me I was dismissed after I asked what we were going to do about my room and had not refunded my money! Never again

    A real disappointment. The room smelled like Pine-Sol. The carpet was stained. The freezer in the (very small) refrigerator was so jammed with ice we couldn’t use it. The bathroom was way too small, but the overall room was gigantic. Didn’t make sense. No coffee maker in the room, but worst of all, they ran out of breakfast food at 8 AM. Breakfast was advertised as being available till 9 AM. There was no fruit, no juice, no yogurt, no muffins, bagels or anything other than plain white bread. No peanut butter or jam or anything to put on the bread. The only option was the waffle maker. We like to stay at Days Inn because of the complementary breakfast, so this was particularly frustrating. The only positive was that the bed was very comfortable. We won’t be back to the Rapid City location ever again!
