We had a lovely time. The decor is so cool - attention to detail like with the instrument lamps in dining hall. Loved the room, lounge and dining hall. The field walking was so lovely. And that there were gluten free cornflakes. Slight disappointment was that I received an email asking me if I wanted to upgrade, which I replied to, but never received a reply.

Three nights stay - done a few now. Unfortunately, and not the hotels fault a particularly noisy neighbour this time around. Finally gave up trying to sleep at 3am and visited reception. I was given another room to get my head down for a few hours. Grateful for that - shame it happened due to some unruly guests.

The shower room was spacious. The hot water was very slow to come in the wash-hand basin. (resulted in a waste of water as I waited for it to warm up.)

I like staying here to unwind and have a relaxing break away from normal work life and I can always work well from their lovely spacious rooms. Only down side this visit was the noise from neighbouring rooms and it unfortunately lasted most of then night as I could hear them vomiting and falling over in their bathroom (a little too much alcohol perhaps).

Not the easiest hotel to find if you are arriving when it's dark. My room was quite dated but clean and the bed was super comfortable. No bath but a decent shower. Breakfast was great. The staff were very attentive and the service quick. More choice on the buffet for Gluten free would of been nice.
