Apartment for rent in Cairo

The host of this apartment has become a friend. I had a long-term stay of 7 weeks in this apartment and the owner went out of his way to make sure I was happy and comfortable. The apartment is spacious and having a lift up (to the first floor) really made things easier especially with suitcases. There is a nice little balcony off one of the bedrooms to sit with a cup of tea and a book. The local supermarket is a very easy 5 minute walk away. The air-conditioning worked really well on hot days and I very much appreciated having the washing machine available in the apartment too. The host organised a new smart TV to watch Netflix - which was appreciated during a 2 month stay.

If there was anything wrong, or something that was needed, the host was happy to fix it. No complaints. The apartment is in a residential area, so you need to organise Ubers or taxis to get around as there is not much in the way of restaurants close handy.
