Good besides the water heater

The ground floor apartment lies in an unmarked residential road just off the 222. Lots of shops and restaurants within walking distance. The apartment is clean, spacious and the beds comfy, with clean linen and towels. The chap who let me in and brought some supplies was very helpful and friendly, I never met the owners/managers!

Communication was poor. An airport transfer was included, a reason I booked, but then was told it wasn´t available, I insisted, they relented, but then I was kept waiting one hour at the airport. They also changed the check in time from 1pm to 4pm, without discussion. The apartment block and apartment have both seen better days, it is dark, hardly any natural sunlight gets in and the dark brown wood (old fashioned) furnishings & fittings don´t help! There is no access from the apartment to the outside, so at this time of year (Feb), I wasn´t even able to dry my towel. The kitchen is poorly equipped and what is there, is old and well used. Nothing was provided for cleaning or drying dishes! The bathroom has seen better days, but is adequate, the toilet seat was broken and no toilet paper was provided. I couldn´t get any heating on, so the apartment was chilly. I also suffered several angry bites on my wrists & neck, which I believe originated from the sofa in living room! If they address all these issues, it would be a good option.
