Just a few niggles nothing major

Nice size

We could hear the next door neighbour through the wall. It was very hot, so windows were open, and we could hear the neighbours in the shared courtyard. We were also woken up 7.30 every morning by people who stabled their horses. Chatting and laughing, which was nice but a little annoying being woken up so early.

Beautiful break in lovely surroundings, did Norfolk proud.

Beautiful conversion, tasteful and welcoming. Starter supplies of milk/juice/butter/jams were lovely surprise, plus condiments very useful. One of party wanted to move in permanently! Suggestions for local facilities very good.

Driver found concrete drive a bit challenging, but understood this is a working livery. Lamp in lounge area didn't work - not a problem at this time of year. Some of the kitchen knives should probably be replaced, but range was excellent.

I could not have asked for more!

I loved the authenticity of the place. The cattle ties on the walls and the old 'wonky' walls. I really felt a sense of history, which I loved. The location was so peaceful, and the setting idyllic. I could not have asked for more.

The old dairy was beautifully equipped, comfortable and spotlessly clean. All in peaceful surroundings and an excellent location for our visit.

Cosy cottage in a lovely quiet location.

Powerful shower. Mainly quiet. Good fenced off area in front...would be good to have a grassy one too/instead!

Window in first bedroom didn't shut properly. Luckily it wasn't too cold but it was more noisy.

Peaceful, cosy, great location and great attention to detail

Great location to explore Norfolk, surroundings were beautiful, loved the enclosed courtyard for my dog, little extras in the fridge like milk and apple juice, dog towel and treats for my dog were a really lovely touch, the place was super clean, well equipped for self catering, everything you could possibly need and so peaceful and relaxing to come back to after a day of exploring. I really loved the barn style front door as it meant I could let fresh are in but didn’t have to worry about my dog wondering off (not that she’d get far in the enclosed courtyard, I can confirm it is nosey Jack Russell proof!) so that was great. There’s a lovely little public footpath just across from the farm entrance to have a little stroll and the roads are nice and quiet. I also visited Holkham beach, Great Yarmouth, Whitlingham country park and Brandon country park - all a very easy drive away, Holkham is a must see!

Pleasant stay in Norfolk

Our host Samantha was very approachable. Comfortable accommodation, with all the facilities we required -- we were in The Old Dairy. Nice kitchen and it was a bonus having a washing machine. The property is a horse stabling concern and it was nice to be able to walk around and see the animals. Access to Norfolk and Suffolk and surrounding area was good. Being self catering, shopping was accessible at nearby Dereham (15 mins away).

Beds a little small, but fortunately there were two bedrooms to utilise.

Lovely surroundings

Lovely area our dog had a great time and seeing all the horses was lovely and owners very friendly.

The heating was on and I tried turning it off but it didn't work and as we were only there for 3 nights didn't bother asking owners also pillows were so hard so use to a nice pillow you can sink you head into. Oh and outside table was dirty couldn't eat off it was going to have my breakfast outside. I know I could have wiped it but it would have made the dishcloth filthy.

Gorgeous relaxing peaceful stay!

The lodge was absolutely lovely, it was spotless and the beds were so comfy. Also the shower was amazing. It was so peaceful and quiet we absolutely loved it. Added bonus the horses next door enjoyed a fuss. Thanks so much!
