What a wonderful spot, the view was magnificent, fully equipped and so so clean, we were very impressed. We had a quick stay while doing an event in the area but will definitely book again for a longer stay to enjoy the house more.

Nice view from the lounge windows. Quiet location

We travelled with our 92 year old mother who stayed in the twin room which meant in the middle of the night, she had to navigate the hall to get to the bathroom. To say the least, we did not sleep well that night worrying about her. It was worrying for us, as there was a step down to get to the bathroom. The house is not all on one level.

Location was great - wonderful view and nice to be able to sit on a covered deck. Kitchen had everything we needed. Loved the big fridge!

When walking up the side stairs to the door to the porch (to get to the lock box), I tripped and fell as entered the porch as hadn't realise the lip at top of stairs was as high as it was so should have taken a bigger step to get inside....it maybe a good idea to have some sort of signage on outside of door. We then decided to use the 'back door' for entry and exit (as flat) and only went back out the side door when locking up. I think signage inside the door (when exiting) might be a good idea too as someone could trip down the stairs. Noted there was a handle on the outside wall which was great.

Good location. Spacious rooms and bathroom. Beautiful views and plenty of parking. Luckily there is a Dairy and Bakery walking distance.

We flew into Auckland Thursday night and arrived at the house at about 1:30am Friday morning. There were only 2 coffee pods for the coffee machine and no other coffee. The tea bags looked old and we had no idea what type of tea it was. A little box of milk would have come in handy too. The main bedroom bed was too soft and uncomfortable, so after 2 nights of not getting much sleep, we ended up sleeping in the other bedroom on the single beds, which is in much better condition, even the pillows were better. The heating wasn't great, and when the weather got warmer, there was no aircon. The floors are cold. Watch out for the little step through the hallway door, a health and safety trip up caused a couple of bruised toes. We then put a towel on the floor to remind us of the step. The towels could do with replacing and we were only given 2 small rolls of single ply toilet paper, but we stayed for 4 nights, so had to go buy more toilet paper. No mirror or space to do make up in the main bedroom and no mirror above the bathroom vanities to shave. Thanks to the owner for dropping off an ironing board and a new iron, but it was too late, as we needed it Friday morning first thing. A pretty little house, but could do better.
