Borsh Olive Camping

Warm showers, clean tents.

Un camping foarte liniștit, într-o livada cu măslini care oferă corturi, saltea de spuma, perne si lenjerie. Am dormit foarte bine, dimineața se poate servi mic dejun si cafea. Este foarte aproape de plajă, la vreo 200 m de drumul principal. Au parcare in interior, toalete si dusuri decente, locuri de șezut si citit, hamace, etc.

Uneori am simțit miros de canalizare.

The location was close to a public (free) beach. The lighting at night was conveniently placed, and the campsite looked cute. The electricity in the tent was working properly. The shower cabins were big. There was a clothes line behind the tent to dry clothes. The hosts were nice.

For 40 euros per night in a tent, I'd expected to have a bit more in it, for example, a small bottle of soap or a fan. It was unclear when breakfast was available. On both mornings I inquired about it around 10 am and was told it was too late. The shower was partially clogged. There was one time when sewage water came up from the drain hole. There was loud music until midnight, and a crying baby in the tent next to mine, which disrupted my sleep. I chose a campsite specifically to avoid the loud music and be able to sleep properly at night, and therefore it was quite annoying to have music even there. There is no taxi station in the town, and the walk from the petrol station (where the bus leaves passengers) to the camp is absolutely brutal in the summer heat. I called the number of the camp asking if they could pick me up from the petrol station (about 2 km away); I was told it would take 20-30 minutes. However, after more than an hour of waiting in the heat, I realized that he wasn't coming and walked it by myself, arriving at the camp irritated and on the verge of dehydration. Of course, the camp owner doesn't have to pick me up; however, they should be honest about it and not tell the guest they were coming when in fact they are not, and keep me hanging in 40-degree heat.
