Probably our best guest house experience ever! We both felt so welcome and well cared for from the moment we arrived. The house has a beautiful garden with lovely views of the surrounding mountains. It is very peaceful, yet still close to the old town. Diana’s parents were absolutely amazing and took care of everything we needed. They prepared a delicious breakfast with local fruit, fresh vegetables, homemade fig marmalade, Albanian pancakes and eggs — you definitely won’t go hungry here! Diana gave us clear directions and some great recommendations for our stay. They are such lovely, warm people, and we wish them all the best! We also had an amazing time in Gjirokastër itself. What a beautiful little town, with its charming Ottoman atmosphere! Isaraj Guest House is only about a 10-minute walk from the castle and the bazaar, making it a perfect base for exploring the town. We would absolutely recommend staying here!
