If you are enamored by vintage/antique decor you will love this house. The downstairs kitchen is a dream. We were in Room 9 and it was clean with zero odor. Bathroom was close and clean as well. Eatery just next door and beautiful town square walking distance. Very convenient to the water taxi.

It is a very loud area at night with the sports bar next door. Laundry offered which is nice but hard to manage as washers. dryers, and lines were full of house linens. We had seen a warning to avoid this place after we booked it. Reports of mold and odors. We didn't find that in our room or athroom downstairs.

Perfect for a solo traveler looking for a safe, quiet place to rest during El Camino. Very close to local restaurants. Laundry available for free.

10/10 – A home away from home! Wir waren zum zweiten Mal im Smiling Places – ganz bewusst, weil wir unseren ersten Aufenthalt so geliebt haben. Und auch diesmal war es einfach perfekt! Die Gastgeber sind unglaublich herzlich, freundlich und hilfsbereit. Man fühlt sich vom ersten Moment an wie zu Hause. Das Haus ist wunderschön und liebevoll ausgestattet, es fehlt an nichts. Der kleine Pool ist nach einem langen Wandertag eine herrliche Erfrischung. Das Frühstück ist außergewöhnlich: riesige Auswahl, liebevoll angerichtet und unglaublich lecker. Und meine Tochter war begeistert von den Rituals-Pflegeprodukten – eines von vielen kleinen Details, die diesen Ort so besonders machen. Ein wunderbares Guesthouse an einem wunderschönen Ort. Für uns wirklich a home away from home. Wir planen schon den nächsten Aufenthalt 😁
