Casa Dama

Great communication from the host, lots of information and photos to help get to the property. The apartment was very clean and a good size. Both bedrooms were large and spacious with plenty of storage. The beds were comfortable with a number of different pillows to choose from. The kitchen was mostly well appointed but strangely had no bowls to eat cereal/ice cream etc. We loved the balconies with the main one having great views of the hills and town. The location was a short walk from the town centre and close to the steps/road down to the seafront. Vietri itself had plenty of lovely ceramic shops and restaurants on the main pedestrian street to keep tourists haopy, but unlike places like Amalfi it actually also felt like a real town lived in by real. Italians and not just a tourist town. It was a great base for the area as there were train bus and ferry connections.

There were plenty of plates, crockery and cooking equipment but strangely no bowls. We had to eat cereal from large wine glasses! Also there were 3 air conditioning units (both bedrooms and the lounge/kitchen) but only one remote. This was OK in the day but made it difficult at night when in different bedrooms and wanting to turn the air con on/off.

Gorgeous light and airy, beautiful views

Hard to find, steep incline down to the ferry or up to the town
