Panoramic Flat Amalfi Coast - Sea View 1

The apartment is clean, new and comfortable. There’s a lovely balcony with an exquisite view.

The unit was modern and well equipped. Location excellent - halfway beach and centre. Beautiful view from the balcony. Also water and packaged toast and jam provided. Special mention for Michelangelo- our host. He made our stay very special. We arrived at 10;00 in the morning so unit was not ready but Michelangelo met us upon arrival by ferry. He took our luggage to the accommodation whilst we could go to the beach until we were ready to check-in. Michelangelo also drove us to Salerno station at 07:30 hrs. For our visit to Pompeii. His service is the best and friendliest we have ever experienced.

Michelangelo could not have been more attentive or kind. He is a super host, totally invested in his guest having the best experience. He was in contact before we arrived, met us at the apartment and kept in touch answering any questions immediately. The apartment is fantastic - immaculately clean with a fabulous balcony with a view of the sea. It had everything you needed if you wanted to cook or just make breakfast. The decor in the apartment is by an artist who has a shop in town and we couldn't resist bringing a piece home to remind us of our visit. From the list of recommended restaurants we went to Passariello which was delicious. Vietri sul Mare is an excellent location as it's just outside the Amalfi Coast and quieter in the evenings after days out. To get there from Salerno Train Station it is one stop on the local train which goes from the end of Platform 1 - it's called TR 1 - 3 (walk past the cafe on your left).

Everything was excellent especially the host. The local train station (only a short distance away) was closed for maintenance. Michaelangelo let us know ahead of time to allow us to make alternative arrangements. On the day we arrived he came to pick us up at the closest working train station. Michaelangelo helped us with transport, told us about local events, helped us with luggage, his service was superb. The apartment is lovely. Very clean, well presented, has everything you need. Our wonderful host even left some extra surprises for us or more than one occasion. The location is great. Close to the town and loads of restaurants as well as grocery stores. The beach is a short walk away and as an added bonus there is a ferry terminal at the beach. This made it easy and convenient for us to hop on a ferry to visit all the other gorgeous towns along the Amalfi cost. I would highly recommend this apartment, we would have no hesitation in staying again if we visit this part of the world again.
