We had a lovely and comfortable stay at this beautiful, spacious home — cosy, relaxing, and well-furnished throughout. The two-storey house is very clean and modern, with three toilets and a master bedroom downstairs featuring an ensuite and heat pump. The kitchen is large, spotless, and well-equipped with a big fridge and freezer, while the lounge is generous in size and easily accommodated our group of six. We loved the seamless indoor-outdoor flow onto the big deck overlooking the main road — surprisingly quiet despite being next to the main road. We truly felt at home and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The property was pleasant overall but had quite a few maintenance issues. One of the oven knobs was loose, and I suspected the oven might not work, though I didn’t test it — luckily, we ate out during our stay. The upstairs bathroom shower drained very slowly, causing water to pool, and the bathtub shower couldn’t be used as the lever to switch functions was jammed. Neither of the hairdryers upstairs worked, though thankfully the ensuite one did. Since there’s no clothes dryer, a clothesline on the lounge deck would be a helpful addition. Once these issues are addressed, the property would make an even more pleasant and near-perfect stay for future guests.

The property is in a great location, close to Sylvia Park and CBD. Easy access to the tourist spots. The house and parking has short distance so it was very convenient especially we have elderly ones and toddler. The property is modern, it has ensuite and the kitchen is equipped with the utensils and things we need. The house is generally very clean and tidy. Fresh sheets & linens. We want to book in this property if we are going to visit Auckland again.

Everything was being provided. However, I would recommend adding more tea towels in the kitchen, paper towels, rubbish plastics, a clothes airer (or maybe I just did not find them). But eveything in it is almost perfect 😊

Such a private, family friendly home. Very welcoming and comfortable, the best we’ve stayed at so far. Location was also a bonus.
