Location. Ease of access. Great value for money.

Kettle hadn’t been cleaned, someone cooked food in it and left chunks of meat. One of the bedside lamps doesn’t have a bulb. Bedroom tv remote is no where to be found. Fridge had issues that we had to resolve ourselves to make sure perishables wouldn’t perish.

Amazing little property perfect for 2 people. Cosy and spacious

Only thing I didn’t like was there was no undercover/ shade on the balcony for rain and sun

My partner and I booked this property for the 2-9th of March but did end up leaving on the 6th due to the cyclone and the risk of being stuck far away from our home back in FNQ. During our stay we did not have any issues with the property as it was exactly what the photos had shown. Due to the cyclone, the outdoor furniture had to be moved inside the property and we had no issues with that. The owner Chris had come to the property to help us with this. Unfortunately, we were forced to make the sudden decision to leave early. We had great communication between the other owner Kim in regard to vacating the property earlier than expected. After the stay, we had realised that we had left a pair of expensive pyjamas at the property due to our last minute travel. I had messaged Kim the owner about this and have provided screenshots of our messages. This messaging had been going on for almost 2 weeks before I had received a definite response via phone. She explained to me why she had not been in contact with me sooner but wish this was communicated to me in a simple message. I’ve always understood issues that get in the way of work but this was not communicated in any sorts. After getting across bank details for delivery of the pyjamas back to our address I had transferred the $30 that she requested. As of today, I have still not received updates or delivery of the pyjamas. As you can see in the screenshots she has also read my last message. I am extremely unhappy with how this has been dealt with. I will not be holidaying through this business ever again.
