Having our own space without other guests on the other side of the wall/ceiling. Location to King's Island. Ease of check in/out
No knives or cutting board, lack of pans

Cozy cabin. Nice ato
End of the year. The store supplies a little low.
But understandable.

It was close to the highway
At the bottom of a steep hill, had to use a wheelbarrow to bring my suitcase and items down to the cabin. There was no table to sit and eat, just a coffee table. It snowed while I was there and the office was closed on weekday and when I called their maintenance line, it disconnected me. They made some excuse and said that no one usually stays at the place this late in the year, but they finally plowed & shoveled.

I liked the comfy beds and couches. The bathroom was clean.
It was tight for 6 ppl.

Campsite was lovely and clean, near to great restaurants. Lovely pools and it was quiet.
The upstairs bedroom in the cabin had a very low roof so you can’t stand up in it.

The pool areas, the shuttle service.
There are too many things to detail here. I communicated directly with the property.

loved the location and the cabins were adorable
Didn't realize until our second night that most of our dishes were in the dishwasher. There was not enough towels for our group of 5 in our cabin.

No breakfast, restaurant was closed, that would have been nice. Shuttle was excellant to the tennis center.

Close to venue
The house was definitely over priced for the value. There was 2 kitchen towels for a family of 4, there were ANTS in everyone’s bed, the bathroom door didn’t shut at all the place smelled like mildew.

Family friendly comfortable resort
Would have liked our group to be placed in cabins closer together

Great facility with pools, clean cabins, well run reception and bar near the pool and restaurant.
The cabins could use more space for suitcases. Not easy to get luggage to the loft and there is no space for luggage for those in bunks or on sofa bed.

Location was good. Sheets were clean.
We immediately had to have it cleaned again. The carpet and walls were very filthy. The bathroom smelled of musty mold (though saw no mold) and bedroom had a drug related smell. We went to buy a fan to get air to the loft....it was very hot up there and freezing downstairs (which had to do to get it comfortable upstairs). Floor was very dirty....socks were black..

I booked this location in October 2024 for my summer stay in July 2025. As a result, i go a screaming deal room rate and can not complain at the value I received. I rented a Aspen trailer. It was comfortably equipped with the basic essentials of meal prep for the kitchen. Bbq 6 the grill outside, must, of course, be brought yourself. There are several activities in the main building and parimeter such as a golf simulator, lawn bowling , corn hole, etc.. along with a pool. Also, this park is very close to Kings Island as always perfect for a 5-day getaway to the same. There is a lifeguard on duty at the pool, though they seemed very bored, and we're not proactive beyond being present in a chair during my time at the pool.
The facility at the "current" rate would be overpriced, for what I paid the facility was amazing, but I felt that if I had paid the current rate that it was overpriced. The wifi is extremely spotty, especially in the cabin i stayed in. There were many times when i could not even load a single web page. The signal was better closer to the main building. There are two pools, I briefly went to the children's pool once, but the waterfall feature was disabled. There were no organized activities that i noticed. Shops by the pool were not all open. Only the ice cream shop and 5 game arcade by the pool were ever open during my stay. The trailer had ants that became visible after several days. Looking behind a cupboard under the sink, i could see evidence of significant bug spraying. (Rather than deal with an ant problem this resort sprays, it worked for 3 days of 5). On the 4th day I saw 1 and on the kitchen counter and dismissed it and random. On the 5th day of our stay, there were several ants.. Had we stayed longer, I'm sure I'd have needed to go to the desk to complain. As it i didn't bother saying anything as the front desk clearly knew about the issue. I didn't use any of the other facilities instead of spending my time at Kings Island and Soak City (as they were more appealing to me). There is definitely enough to keep yourself busy for a day or so, but mainly to fill time between time spent at the themepark. Otherwise, I don't see a real draw to this property. As a comparable option to a hotel, this is a fair choice, but I wouldn't pay more than a local hotel rate to stay here.

It was close to the amusement park that we were going to the next day
The people in the house next to us were playing music and drinking and laughing till about 2 AM. It was really loud there needs to be more of a noise restriction after a certain time because some people would like to sleep.

It was close to kings island
Upon arrival, we noticed tons of black hair. I hope and assume it was dog hair. It was all over the cabin, even in the fridge. When we went to go to bed, the children went upstairs to go to sleep, and there were ants through their bed. So they came down to sleep on the pull out couch. The bed was disgusting. There were stains all over the sheets and blankets. My wife and I had to share a FITTED sheet! This was bc all that was clean was one sheet, one thin blanket, one a fitted sheet. So our boys got the blanket and sheet. There was also tons of hair in the shower. So much that the shower was not draining properly. I understand it is a campsite and we are in "nature " but spending that much money and not even getting our own blankets is ridiculous. We have never complained about anything before, but this was absurd.

It was clean. Even being near the little pond, bugs were not an issue. Kitchen was big enough to actually use.
The upper loft needs its own AC and Television. Wifi could be a little stronger.

Close to kings island.
The property didn’t appear to be dusted in quite some time. The blinds, tops of things were so dirty. I had a napkin sitting on the counter and walked around outside for a little while and it was covered with ants. The used toilet paper from a previous guest was still on the toilet paper holder with no other toilet paper in the unit. The unit needed a touch up all together.

Convenient location for what we needed.
Hard to get ahold of staff. Bed sheets were dirty, shower was dirty, used soap left shower itself hadn't been cleaned. Could only find one outlet in the bedroom that worked. Heat didnt seem to work. Booking.com failed to mention there is a resort fee. Property messaged me the morning of check out in which I responded with pictures of the things that were dirty on our arrival its been 6 days and still no response.
