ARGO Downtown Apartment

Excellent accommodation and lovely hosts. Easy communication. Even offered change of linen during our 5 night stay. The apartment is spotlessly clean and tastefully furnished. Well fitted kitchen with everything needed to cook. Two balconies looking over harbour and surrounding hills, upstairs view is amazing and lovely to sit out in the evening when the sun moves around. Central to restaurants, supermarket, port and bus to get around the island.

Nothing, all was great

Sortiris &Stella the owners were very warm and welcoming letting us check in early and helping the cleaner clean so we could get in. Stella made us 2 cheesecakes which my husband ate both saying they were the best he ever had. The apt is very central to the port and very clean. Two balconies are an added bonus.

Nothing but would have liked more cleaning products and an info book as where to put the rubbish, nearest supermarket, restaurant recommendations. Etc .

Stella and Sotiris were waiting for us when we arrived, waving from the balcony! The directions they sent were easy to follow and a short walk from the ferry. They were very friendly, and delighted to show us round their gorgeous house. Stella had made us cheesecake as a welcome gift which was delicious. The apartment was spacious and the facilities were excellent. I was a bit worried it might be noisy, as there are several restaurants right outside, but once all the windows were closed, it was very quiet. Just sad we only stayed one night as we were passing through. Would highly recommend this lovely property.

This was not an issue for us, but the stairs into the apartment were steep, and the stairs up to the bedrooms were steep and narrow. I clonked my head several times on the wall/ceiling on the way up (my fault, I kept forgetting), and for anyone a bit unsure on their feet, it might be something to consider.

The view of Kalymnos port from the balcony was stunning plus the location was perfect. Extremely hospitable and welcoming hosts.

The upstairs bedroom would be very difficult to access for anyone with mobility issues. It has an extremely steep and narrow staircase.
