The property is in my old neighbourhood I grew up in so I am very familiar with the area, which was the main reason for choosing it. I liked the flexibility of the check in using a code to get in the building and retrieving a key from the box. Upon arrival before 23:00, we found everything very clean, not overly furnished, just enough to make our stay special. Some things in the kitchen were provided which was amazing, thank you.

I am nit-picking only, and not taking these points against the property, as the overall quality of the stay would have been excellent. Just wanting this to be a perfect stay. Also, I did not attempt to contact the owners via the given mobile number as it was Christmas but I was messaging them about other things via the booking.com app, however there was no reply till after the check-out. I feel that the sudden cold weather spell did not help, but as we were not allowed to touch the radiators, the apartment's small room would just not heat up sufficiently especially during the night and there was one extra blanket and one extra duvet only, which we had to split and sleep separately due to my flu. A choice of terrycloth fitted sheets? The unique shower design needs to be mentioned too, as it is not 'user friendly' to not have a shelf in the shower, to not have the showerhead holder and to accidentally change the water temp or pressure bending down for the soap or standing up after putting the soap down on the shower floor. Had the shower cubicle been installed with the shower in the corner rather that in the middle of the wall, and had it had somewhere to fix the showerhead or put the shower gel on, the property would get 10/10. I have already discussed the other guests' loud behaviour after midnight (we observe 22:00-06:00 night silence in POLAND) and I appreciate their response. Then there is the TV in the living room which for some reason does not respond to the remote control at times so it had to be unplugged or it would not turn off. Minor thing but still... And the very last thing was the attention to detail in the kitchen cabinet. Someone either did not know or made a prank we fell for once and tea caddy had OREGANO in it and the sugar container had SALT. But there was a spare bag of sugar there too, to be frank. One salty coffee taught us to trust no one.

Die Lage ist perfekt, 5 min zu Fuß in die Altstadt mit all ihren Restaurants und Cafés und dennoch ruhig gelegen. Parkplatz vom Hotel nebenan kann kostenfrei genutzt werden. Direkt unten ein entspannter Pub in dem man auch eine Runde Billard oder Darts spielen kann, mit entspannte Publikum von den man im Apartment nichts Störendes mitbekommt. Die Unterkunft ist gut ausgestattet und wirklich sehr sauber gewesen.

Das Bett ist sehr hart, auf einer Seite des Lattenrostes war eine Latte herausgebrochen und das Badezimmer ist klein. Die Duschkabine ist sehr klein und leider ohne Ablageflächen und ohne Möglichkeit den Duschkopf aufzuhängen. Lässt sich aber alles sehr gut aushalten. Leider waren bei Ankunft keine Handtücher in der Unterkunft, diese haben wir erst am nächsten Morgen auf Nachfrage erhalten - kann passieren, zum Glück hatten wir Familie vor Ort die aushelfen konnte.
