Casa a Scale

Excellent location very near the main piazza. Cozy, historical, comfortable home with main level kitchen, dining, living space with small utility toilet/ washing machine. Upstairs two bedrooms with very comfortable beds and full bathroom. There is a cute little room up a spiral stairs with a single bed and toilet. We enjoyed our stay very much! Highly recommend.

Casa a Scale was an absolutely PERFECT choice for our week-long stay in Sulmona. What a wonderful experience. The location is IDEAL and makes exploring the heart of Sulmona effortless. Access to all of the restaurants, shops, and eateries as well as landmarks like Piazza Garibaldi are all less than an easy 5-minute walk. Staying in an historic building with a full 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms added authenticity and gave us plenty of room for our stay while still being charming, welcoming and warm. Two+ full floors, a full kitchen, a working fireplace in this location was exactly why we selected Casa a Scale and it certainly didn’t disappoint. The Host was amazing with all of our questions and went above and beyond for everything we needed in advance and during our stay. The house was spotless and generously stocked for our stay and a great VALUE compared to anything else we considered renting. I can’t wait to get back to Casa a Scale for our next adventure!

The apartment is in the center of Sulmona. It is definitely a house of stairs. It was well equipped and the refrigerator was stocked with breakfast food such as butter, jelly and bread for toast along with plenty of bottled water. The kitchen was very functional.

One criticism might be that the apartment occupies three floors which would be difficult for people with disabilities.

La casa è situata al centro di Sulmona e attorno ci sono molti parcheggi a pagamento dove poter lasciare l'auto. L'host è stato gentile e ci ha predisposto acqua, legna e qualcosa da mangiare, oltre a darci tutte le indicazioni necessarie per usare la connessione internet e per check in e check out. Gli spazi erano come ci aspettavamo e gli elettrodomestici tutti perfettamente funzionanti. La zona è silenziosa e il camino dà sicuramente molti punti in più alla casa.

Ciò che non ci ha soddisfatto è stata la pulizia totalmente assente della casa. Sia i pavimenti che i bagni non erano puliti, in particolare il water della camera singola che era sporco. Nella zona della cucina c'erano molte confezioni e bottiglie di cibo utilizzato e non buttato. Lenzuola e asciugamani erano okay invece.
