Il Poggio di Pettirossi is like a home away from home located just 15 minutes from Sulmona and even less from Bugnara and Introdacqua. It is a lovely property with spacious, well-equipped and comfortable apartments, perfectly positioned sitting and lounging areas in the gardens with expansive views and friendly, attentive owners on-site. Even before we arrived, the owner's daughter and the staff kindly assisted us with directions, guiding us on the phone to the beautiful property as Booking.com sent us up a side street several blocks before. The owners speak English and kindly accommodated our request for a ground-floor apartment, which was very convenient for us with our little dachshund, even though they had reserved a beautiful apartment with amazing views on the 2nd floor for us. We were personally welcomed by the owner's daughter as if we were family coming to visit and felt at home from the moment we arrived. The large, very clean, light and bright, and well-equipped apartment has a super comfy bed and nice privacy. We met another couple who had stayed there before and were staying for a month. We will also return next time we're in the area. It's a wonderful place which I highly recommend ❤️ 💖 💕

I really enjoyed that this property was outside of town with lots of space and a wonderful view of the hills. Everything was also very clean and comfortable, especially the warm rooms as the nights were growing colder when we went in October.
I wouldn't really call this a B&B since the breakfast consists of snacks given upon arrival. But as we wanted to spend our time visiting the local area and take breakfast in town, this wasn't a problem for us. I also think it is important to note that the rooms are listed as apartments online with separate bedrooms, but they are really one-room spacious apartments. This was an issue for our party as we needed separate rooms but we ended up taking an additional apartment. I think the description online could be clearer.
